NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — It’s hard to think of Tennessee without thinking of country music icon and philanthropist Dolly Parton, but her presence in Nashville is about to become even stronger with her new hotel.
The SongTeller Hotel is set to be located at 211 Commerce Street near Lower Broadway. The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency received the following images from Parton’s company for review:
“She’s a global icon. [I] love her music, always have, and I would definitely stay in her hotel in Nashville,” Tracy Curran told News 2 while visiting Nashville for the second time. According to Curran, learning about Parton’s future hotel has inspired her to plan her next trip. She believes the SongTeller Hotel will only add to Nashville’s country music history.
The building used to serve as the Baker Donelson office and has already been through some renovations, including a paint change. When the hotel is completed in 2026, both Nashville locals and visitors said they will enjoy celebrating Parton.
