  • 401K & Profit Sharing – Profit Sharing and 401(k) Retirement plans are available after three (3) months of service. 
  • Paid Life Insurance – Full-time year-round hosts receive company-paid life insurance for themselves and their dependents and short-term disability benefits for themselves. 
  • Paid Time Off – Holiday, vacation, sick, and flex pay. 
  • Survivor’s Income Benefit – 12 weeks of a host’s base pay is given to their beneficiary for immediate family needs, upon the host’s death. Available to all hosts on day one of employment. 
  • Adoption Reimbursement Assistance – Reimbursement expenses of up to $3,000 per adoption. 
  • Recognition Programs – We recognize the contributions of hosts at all levels of achievement through formal and informal reward & recognition programs and financial incentives. 

Health & Wellness*

  • MetLife Host Assistance – All hosts are eligible for free & discounted wellbeing services, including counseling, work, legal and financial assistance. 
  • Retiree Benefit – Hosts who retire at age 55 or older and work for Herschend for 20 continuous years may be eligible to receive annual health premium reimbursements.
